Queen of Hearts

This afternoon I had the inspiration to create
my own personalised poker card representation of the queen of hearts.

So here is what I did

Preparing the files:

1. Take the time to choose an appropriate poker card that represents you
2. Pick an interesting picture of yourself (choose something that reflects your inner feelings.)
3. Do a bit of research to see the different representations of the poker card's symbols

Photoshop work:

1. Start by doing a bit of editing to your picture: removing background, cleaning edges, fixing the levels 
2. Save your image as ".png" and open a new file 
3. Set the size (something rectangular) choose any of the following types depending on what you prefer: 
1. RGB (for internet use)
2. CMYK (for printing)
4. Insert your image
5. Using the "eraser tool"(e) erase part of your image side ways 
6. Duplicate your image (alt. drag) and turn it upside down (⌘ T. and turn the mouse)
7. Download some particular pattern that you like
8. Manipulate it's colours to form the colours scale intended
9. Place the pattern under your picture
10. Save your picture as .jpg and keep a .psd copy in your files

Illustrator work:

1. Open a new page.
2. Drag your edited image to illustrator and embed it
3. Draw a round edge rectangle around the image
4. Right click > send to front
5. Select all (⌘+A)
6. Right click > select "make clipping mask"
7. Select the round edge tool again and click once anywhere on your page > click ok
8. Thicker the border of the new shape as much as you prefer
9. Select the round edge tool one last time and click once anywhere on your page > click ok
10. Hold down alt+shift and drag with your mouse to enlarge the shape to form the card borders 
11. Type several "Qs" letters and choose your font
12. Draw the poker symbol or download one from any free vector website. (supporting websites bellow)
13. Put your "Qs" above the poker symbol and group them
14. Place them on the two opposite sides of your card 
15. Select the card shape > go to effects > stylised > drop shadow

Gone With The Rain

I can't be strong

I can’t hold this any long

I thought I was okay

I thought I wasn’t wrong

But it hurts me deep inside

Holding broken faith

Walking on the loneliest way

As if nothing matters in these days

And we all live in this maze

With an endless aim

Searching for a reason to be amazed

And with all we face

We only get one taste

And all the pain is gone to waste

And when you are done there is nothing to gain

All the tears are gone with the rain

And life seems like a runaway train

That we will never get to live today

Or even enjoy it as you may

Rules follow you as you go on the way

And you start to get pale

Day by day you will give up and fray

Killing your self is one way

But living the fight is the strongest parade

Strength was never to be big in weight

Or to have the largest hate

It is to understand your deepest fate

With the least mistakes

And to live the best life

With nothing fake

It is to smile every day

And always be on the right way

It is to breath every breath with no regret

It is thinking of the people you have hurt

It is trying to make things right with the power of a fight

It is to be a mighty knight

That makes me feel so white

It’s not fair you said we will win every fight

I should have known that life is not so bright.

And here I stand once again

Crying for the love that ran away

Screaming with no worlds to say

Silence is the noisiest display

And while I slowly lose my grace

And it seems like everything is ranked in my face

Water becomes a poor taste

Life is gone to waste

Love is no more safe

Memories become that too good to be true tail

Only then do I realize that I have failed

There is no way I can win this race 

 But I also realize that I have a debate

Between my damaged heart and my injured brain

And soon I turn insane

Having a heart that is so untamed

Is the hardest you could gain

Emotions is an unfair game
